ssshhhhh! it's a surprise!

Dave and I just planned a weekend away...with the kids.

We got an ad in the mail for one of those hotels that have an indoor waterpark attached.

Jake and Emma? Yeah. They love water. A lot. As long as it doesn't get in their eyes. Then we could have a problem.

Anyway, for Labor Day Weekend, we are taking the kids away for one last hoorah before school starts. And we aren't going to tell them, because we're sneaky like that. That, and they have no concept of time so I don't want to hear about it for the next two weeks!

And the weird part? I'm actually looking forward to it. Huh. Go figure.
