Nothing to read

I am officially suffering from a Harry Potter lull.

I finished the book about a week ago, and I have yet to find something that I can sink my teeth into. I've started a book that Dave just finished, but that's more of a "treadmill read" than a "shirk all other duties read".

What's everyone reading right now? Can you offer up any suggestions? I need to get my hands on a good book!

I just read "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" series and loved it. Also read Nora Ephron's "I Hate My Neck". It reads like one of her screeplays and made me want to be able to call her and go have coffee with her.

I actually don't read. I don't have time to read. Actually, I take it back, the only thing I do read is a chapter book to the children at bed time, and I do try to fit in the scriptures, but even THAT is hit and miss.

Come on over and check out my bookshelf. I have ton of things waiting to be read...

Forever Odd, by Dean Koontz is a good one to continue your supernatural theme...

I just read The Other Mother. EXCELLENT. I read it in 1 1/2 days WITH the 2 kids home. I actually stayed up Wednesday night until almost midnight to finish it. That's unheard of for me.

I just read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hossieni and "The Measure of a Man" by Sydney Poitier. Both excellent, depends on if you like fiction or non better. :) Ellen (yes, I am finally leaving a comment!)

An incredible, and I mean awesome, book is "When Crickets Cry" by Charles Martin. I read a lot and this book kept me absolutely captivated.
